Friends and family gathered to celebrate Chance and Alexis Drewery at the Orr Street Studio Art Gallery in downtown Columbia, Mo., June 3, 2017. The venue was modest and intimate, the perfect size for this family gathering. Art lined the walls giving it a modern artistic feel.
Alexis wore an elegant braided hairstyle under her floor-length veil. Her satin dress dazzled with its overlaid beading and cascading train.
The venue tables were decorated with various artistic accents including fruits, rocks, lights, and small plants. My favorite was the baby pineapple!
The night was complete with our Standard DJ Package and Elite Host, Jonathan who kept the guests dancing with live mixes of the couples favorite music.
The red, white and blue theme was perfect for this military wedding. Bridesmaids wore navy blue unique dresses. The bride’s bouquet was a stunning bright American red. Chance wore his military formal suit. The three ring bearers all had little American flag suspenders. It was the perfect touch.
As the bridal party walked town the aisle a live trumpet quartet played. It was a very unique addition to the military theme and a special memory for the newlyweds. A live pianist also played during the ceremony.
Blue Diamond Events Photographer, Amy Blevins, captured the small details in this artistically styled wedding. She focused on documenting candid moments and the elegant gallery setting.
Amy will be offering Wedding Day Packages soon for coverage of ceremony, getting ready, bridal portraits, reception and more.
Congratulations to the beautiful couple. Thank you for letting us celebrate with you!
